Writing Prompt 4: Concert/Music

What is the best concert I've been to? My favorite type of music? Genre? Era? During this blog, I'm going to talk about my favorite music.

To be honest, I have only been to two concerts. I think I was seven on one and eleven when I went to another. I don't really go to concerts, those two times I went was because a friend invited me. I don't know, I like concerts, even though I have very little experience with them, but who knows, if an artist that I really like comes near my hometown, I might go.

Or maybe I don't go to concerts because the artists I listen to are dead. I mean, I like this generation's music, it is good and I do find myself listening to it. However, I love finding "new" music to me but old music that came out years ago. I love the 50s and all the way to the 90s. I think I've listened to a few songs that were from the 40s or before.

I'm not trying to state that I know completely all the singer's names, and I for sure don't know the lyrics. I am very bad with lyrics. I just like that music. I absolutely enjoy today's music though. I love Beyonce and The Weeknd.

Something very common for almost everyone is that I get bored with a song after I've listened to it so many times. Probably after a month or so I stop listening to it. But hearing it again after you forgot about it is amazing. Also, something weird is that I don't like songs the first time I hear them. When my brother would show me songs, I wouldn't like them. Then I heard it because my brother played it, and I started to like it. And later I play it.

You should listen to the music you like. Everyone's taste is different. My friends sometimes laugh because I listen to other songs that seem "weird" to them. But sometimes they like the songs I show them. Just be you and listen to the songs that make you wanna dance, smile or cry.
